Burna Boy Collaborates With East African Rapper

If you remember the early days of MTV Base five years ago, one of the groups that stood out from East Africa was the rap group Klear Kuts. Over the ensuring years, one of their standout members Navio broke out to start a prolific solo career and now he’s hooked up with Naija’s own Burna Boy.

The song produced by Aethan and engineered by Samurae is titled Gbesile, which is Yoruba for drop it (or in the case of this song: drop it on the floor). As you can guess from the title, it is a party jam!
However with the sombre artistry that Navio and Burna Boy are known for, the wit, lyrical magic and witty lines become apparent.
Due to public demand, talks of a video in time for December are already in the works. And with Navio flying back and forth to Nigeria, we can be rest assured the fans will have something to look forward to.

Meanwhile Burna Boy is set to release his sophmore album, On A Spaceship. The album will feature the likes of Wande Coal, Wizkid, AKA, and singer Nyanda Thourbourne of Jamaican group Brick & Lace.
