Statistics has it that over 50 million Africans dies of hunger on a yearly bases, for this reasons a
campaign against hunger was recently lunched in Abuja Nigeria.
'NigeriaOpFeed37000' which
simply means 'Operation feed 37000 less privileged in Nigeria' powered
by THE BIG QUESTION has given humanitarian assistance to over
1300 less privileged members in Abuja. Area visited are Kamajiri IDPs camp,
colony of the disabled, Area1 IDPs camp, Mpape, beggar round about, lugbe,
utako, etc. of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The project is tagged:
'NigeriaOpFeed37000' which was in form of feeding and also making
provision for varieties of foodstuff to underprivileged people in the areas
visited.
Speaking with the
convener of the project and the host of THE BIG QUESTION
MAZI MAYOR of Crowther 104.5 Love FM Abuja,
noted that THE BIG QUESTION,is a humanitarian radio reality
magazine program that finds answers to the questions and issues in our society
and by extension providing solutions to the ills, caring for the needy and the
less privileged in the society.
In his words Our plans
was to feed 1000 in every state but we ended up feeding 1300 less privileged
and their children in Abuja and we are planning to take it to other states
through the help of the governors wives which are the first lady's and other relevant
stakeholders in various state of the country.
“My advice to any
interested person out there is that you don’t need to have much before sharing
with others. From the little you have, you can share with those who don’t have
water and food,” he said.
Also speaking, CEO,
Tricia's Care International Foundation,Tricia Magbe, who urged other
non-governmental organizations, government and individuals to
assist THE BIG QUESTION with MAZI MAYOR in
reaching out to the less privileged in the society, she said the assistance
will help eradicate forms of crimes in Nigerian communities.
“We believe in feeding
people in the street because that's the best thing to do for them when you have
nothing to offer, we thought it was going to be an easy task but on getting
there we discovered that they were much and really hungry, If THE BIG
QUESTION successfully do this, we will achieve zero crime in our
society.

manager Samuel Nzeh (Uncle AJ) the host of OMINIBOSS
on 104.5 Love FM Abuja applauds MAZI MAYOR by calling
him Brother from Mother who is not just a colleague to him but a true friend
with great ideology. And he also appealed to the
general public to support the
Nation's wide campaign to preach peace by giving out food. He also solicited
for support from well-meaning Nigerians while drawing inspiration from when he
was growing up back then in Ajegunle city of Lagos Nigeria.

said he the turnout of people looking for food in the street was amazing and

Nigerians.
According to the host of THE BIG QUESTION he said
how he got everything was to the glory of God despite he is still owing some
debt he look forward to what's tomorrow holds for the less privileged. People
never thought it would be achievable, even when we brought in the cow it was
still not achievable not until we started packaging the foods.
