The Australia Government says it was reviewing America’s Singer, Chris Brown visa application to tour the country, sparking concern that he may be blocked for entering the country because of his domestic violence conviction. Australia's Minister for Women, Senator Michaelia Cash, said the government was not afraid to say no to his request. She said people need to understand that when they commit domestic violence, some countries may stop them from visiting, adding that people with record of violence are not the kind of character expected in Australia. Brown's announcement last week that he would tour Australia in December sparked criticism on social media and an online petition.
