Check out how Azubuike Erinugha celebrated his birthday in an unusual manner.
"I chose to travel from Lagos back to Owerri yesterday. I rejected an offer to fly and asked for the cash equivalent.

With this
money, I paid for a 7-seater Siena and agreed with the driver to carry for free
any woman who he deemed financially challenged especially if accompanied by a
child or more. That was how I spent my birthday, with praying women along the
stretches strewn with uniforms of python dancers playing ludo with drivers,
passengers and vehicles heading south east. The worst part of this journey is
that one of the women's child, Kosisochi, was ill. Her depressed mother wept
between Sagamu and Onitsha".
That on one
part because I learnt on this same birthday day of mine, our benevolent
president, in his kindness nature, approved money for air ambulance and abroad
medical expenses for an ex vice president. Reading the press release is like
listening to a father beating his chest in a podium and boasting of paying his
kid's school fees! This equally got me worried
because the president himself was recently in an over 100-day abroad treatment session. The news didn't connect till someone cited a paragraph in the constitution where it is provided ex heads of states and their deputies are ENTITLED to overseas treatments for the rests of their lives.

I spent the
remaining evening studying our constitution hoping to find a by paragraph or a
clause providing to take the rests of us abroad for desperately needed medical
assistance. None was found. All night I kept wondering why between the regime
of the currently sick former vice president and the regime of this recently
sick sitting president, why no ABROAD looking hospital has not been built in
Nigeria? This way, neither the ex-president, the sitting president nor
Kosisochi would have to be lifted by any air ambulance to seek any treatment
abroad...
By the way.
In the midst of all these miseries and madnesses your prayers, wishes, gifts,
calls, messages and texts made it possible to be cheerful, grateful and
hopeful. You all rock! Once again I
thank you all my friends and family for giving me strength in this seasons of
needless weakness. May our good Lord do same for all of You! I appreciate you
all one by one. We are getting there, folks. De eje nu o!
