Cancer Survivor Whose Cancer Report Blessing CEO Doctored Opens Up

Deborah Mbara has broken her silence on claims that controversial relationship expert Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, allegedly doctored her cancer report.

ArenasLive reports that during an appearance on ARISE Television, Blessing CEO denied the allegations, insisting she had never met Deborah or her brother, who had been publicly calling her out online.

In a video shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Deborah narrated how Blessing CEO gained her trust to access her cancer report. She explained that after consoling Blessing over her own health condition, the relationship expert requested Deborah’s medical report to compare with hers. Deborah later expressed shock upon seeing a medical report online that closely resembled her own.

Deborah further claimed that Blessing recently visited Asaba to seek forgiveness from her family after they threatened legal action. According to Deborah, her husband told Blessing that forgiveness would only be granted if she publicly acknowledged the truth about the report on social media.

In a related development, the Nigerian Medical Association has disowned a histology report circulating online allegedly linked to Blessing CEO. The association clarified that the document had been altered from an original medical report issued to another breast cancer patient.

The statement, jointly signed by Delta NMA Chairman Dr Israel Adaigho and Secretary Dr Usamah Hannah, confirmed that the report circulating online was purportedly issued by Xinus Medical Diagnostics and signed by consultant pathologist Dr O.A. Odigwe. However, the diagnostic centre’s proprietor verified that the document originally belonged to a different patient.

The controversy continues to spark debates on social media about medical privacy and online misinformation.
