social media personality, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has publicly apologized following the uproar over her claim that she was battling stage 4 breast cancer and the donations she allegedly received from concerned Nigerians.
ArenasLive News reports that the self-acclaimed relationship expert had gone off social media after facing intense backlash, as many Nigerians doubted the authenticity of her illness and demanded accountability over the public donations.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Blessing CEO expressed regret over the controversy, admitting that the situation caused embarrassment and confusion. She, however, insisted that her cancer diagnosis was genuine and pleaded with the public to be patient while she prepares to release medical evidence to support her claims.
According to her, she will soon upload her scan results and biopsy reports, promising to document her treatment journey openly, just as she did with her previous cosmetic surgery updates.
Addressing the donations she received, Blessing CEO said anyone who wants a refund should send their payment receipt and account details via WhatsApp or direct message, assuring them that the money would be returned.
She said:
“I want to start by saying I am sorry, very sorry to my loved ones, fans, well-wishers and to all Nigerians.
“I am sorry for the unnecessary drama, embarrassment and controversy surrounding my health issues... I did not lie about my health issues.
“I will start by uploading my scan results officially, down to my biopsy, and carry you all on this journey... And to the well-meaning Nigerians who want refund of their contributions, please kindly send us a WhatsApp message or DM... you get a refund.”
