Popular Nigerian streamer Peller has stirred reactions after revealing that his mother repeatedly warned him against giving money to his father, accusing him of constantly demanding more despite the financial support he has already received.
Peller made the revelation while reacting to the ongoing family drama involving content creator GehGeh, whose younger sister recently accused him of neglecting his siblings despite his wealth.
Speaking during a livestream, Peller admitted that he fears facing an even bigger public family scandal, alleging that his father had previously threatened to call him out publicly.
According to him, despite paying his father’s bills and even gifting him a car, the demands never stopped.
“My mummy was even telling me to stop. She doesn’t want me to give my daddy anything, but I kept helping him because he paid my school fees,” Peller said.
He went on to explain that on the same day he gifted his father a car, his father still asked him for money and returned the next day asking for even more.
Peller, clearly frustrated by the pressure, said he has invested heavily in supporting his family, especially his mother, revealing that he has opened several shops for her.
The livestream confession has sparked widespread debate online, with many fans sympathizing with the content creator over the emotional and financial burden of family responsibilities.
The revelation also comes months after Peller opened up in an interview with Frank Edoho about how his parents’ separation affected his childhood and academic performance, blaming much of his early struggles on their divorce.
