Celebrity Nigerian entrepreneur Blord has finally broken his silence after regaining freedom from Kuje Custodial Centre, expressing heartfelt gratitude to activist Omoyele Sowore and supporters who stood by him during his detention.
Blord walked out of the correctional facility on Monday evening after meeting his bail conditions, ending the tense period of uncertainty that followed his remand over an online feud with social media critic VeryDarkMan.
In a now-viral video making rounds on social media, the businessman appeared emotional as he thanked everyone who contributed financially and emotionally to secure his release.
According to him, “I’m out, I’m good, and I’m going home. I want to say thank you to Sowore’s team. I want to say thank you to everybody that has been fighting for me.”
He went further to acknowledge the sacrifices made on his behalf, offering prayers for those who stood by him during the ordeal.
Blord added, “I want to appreciate every single person that put in their efforts, their time, their money, and everything. May God bless you, and God will always stand for you.”
His release has sparked widespread reactions online, especially given the intense public attention surrounding his clash with VeryDarkMan, a feud that escalated dramatically and ultimately led to his imprisonment.
Now back in freedom, Blord’s emotional statement and public appreciation have added another twist to the controversial saga, while many await the next chapter in the heated face-off between the two internet personalities.
