They Are More Confused Now Than When They Started – Bwala Mocks ADC

A presidential aide, Daniel Bwala, has expressed doubts over the ability of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to build a strong and sustainable political coalition.

In a post shared on X, Bwala argued that the party’s structure and internal dynamics make it ill-equipped to withstand political pressures.

He noted that he had earlier predicted instability within the party, claiming that recent developments have confirmed his concerns. According to him, widespread ambition among party members is a major obstacle.

“A party where everybody wants to be president cannot build a virile opposition,” he wrote.

Bwala also criticised the emergence of the party’s leadership, describing it as a “hostile takeover” that could weaken its long-term stability. He further accused the ADC of lacking ideological direction and consistency, alleging that frequent party defections among its members undermine its credibility.

In addition, he questioned the motives of the party’s leadership, suggesting that they view Nigerians as a means to an end and are driven by desperation.

“A party where their leaders’ desperation is a do-or-die affair cannot govern Nigerians,” he said.

The presidential aide concluded that the ADC’s current situation reflects deeper structural weaknesses, insisting that the party appears more disorganised now than at the start of its political journey.
